UK: Celebrating the Satguru's presence

Celebrating the Satguru's presence

London: 27th November 2016

November is always a special time in the Raj Saubhag diary. Sandwiched in between the celebrations of Diwali and the traditional new year on the one hand and Christmas and the holiday season on the other, November holds several special occasions. Firstly Kartik Poonam marks the birth anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandra as also numerous other great saints. Secondly Param Pujya Bhaishree and Param Pujya Gurumaa's birthdays fall during this month. And lastly, Param Pujya Bapuji's ascension day also falls within this period.

What greater time could there be to gather in Satsang and meditation to express ones gratitude towards the divine blessing of the Satguru in ones life. As has been the tradition for several years now, around eighty-five London Mumukshus gathered at the Harrow Masonic Centre on Sunday 27th November for this threefold celebration.

The day began with a solemn and peaceful meditation session. This was followed by the ceremonial garlanding of the images of the Lords and Gurus and the lighting of the lamp.

Next we were showered with the nectarous words of Bhaishree. Three video clips from various talks and Satsangs by Bhaishree in the recent past were played for the benefit of UK Mumukshus :

  • Firstly a short clip that captured the essence of the recently concluded 'Mahapujan' of Krupaludev's various poetic compositions during the Diwali celebrations in Sayal was played.
  • Next was played a eulogy by Bhaishree to the great Arunbhai Doshi whose soul ascended to higher realms just a few days back. His was truly a legendary life of devotion, spiritual striving and service and Bhaishree's words did justice to such a great being
  • Finally we had the opportunity to listen to the Satsang from Bhaishree's birthday celebrations that had taken place just a few days back in Mumbai. You can read more about this event here.

This was followed by a hearty lunch, worthy of the special occasions that were celebrated. Thus concluded a magnificent event that left everyone in tranquility and devotion.
