On this day Fagan Sud Beej in the Indian calendar, we celebrate Param Pujya Bapuji’s Birthday. Shree Ladakchand Manekchand Vora, fondly known as Bapuji, was the founder of Shree Raj Saubhag Satsang Mandal and a beacon of light that continued to illuminate the inner path to self realisation. Those fortunate seekers that recognised his inner state surrendered to him. By seeking his shelter and striving according to his guidance they were molded through an inner transformation.
On this day we remember his virtues. We remember his Bodh, his teachings. We remember his conduct, both outer and inner. We remember the many interactions with him. Every moment in his Param Satsang was one to learn from. In his silence there was always a lesson, in his words always wisdom, his manner was an example of true conduct and in his eyes there was always love.
As per the tradition, mumukshus started the day with Dhyan and Agna Bhakti at Bapuji’s Samadhi, as well as lighting a candle and placing a flower of respect at his pagla, his feet.
Puja and chaityavandan was conducted at the Deraser.
Swadhyay was conducted in Kalyan Hall. The topic for these 3 days was the letter correspondence between Param Pujya Bapuji and Param Pujya Gurumaa, Shree Sadgunaben. Through the chronology of the letters Bhaishree chose to read, one can chart the progressive spiritual progress of Gurumaa. One sees the obstacles faced by all seekers and the beautiful, positive and devotional way in which Gurumaa overcame these obstacles under the personal and close guidance of Bapuji.
The day was concluded with Aarti and Mangal Divo in the Deraser and a cultural programme in the evening at Saubhagsmruti.
