Foresight - a rare unique virtue
Human beings are naturally blessed with the ability to think, analyse, evaluate and foresee.
Foresight gives an overview of long-term possibilities. It's a tool that explores emerging trends. It helps us to consider diverse perspectives and experiences. Foresight is about opening our mind to new ways and doing the same things differently.
Foresight is acquired by deep contemplation and thus, our mind and intellect play a vital role in the development of this extraordinary and unique virtue.
Foresight is a habit that needs to be cultivated. We keep on evolving as we observe, examine and reflect on all that is around us. In a structured and organized way, we are then able to plan, execute and accomplish our objective.
Foresight demands real accountability and integrity. When used constructively, this virtue can prove to be a great blessing for the whole humanity and for the entire universe too.
A visionary is one, whose mind is engaged in thinking of making the impossible, possible. He dreams big and works hard to realise such dreams. Being a keen observer, even simplest things have a special significance for him. The great scientist, Isaac Newton saw the apple falling down from the tree. His inquisitive mind questioned, why did it fall down and not go up? It was only after finding the principle of gravitational force that his mind rested in peace. A simple incident, when seen with a fresh perspective, lead Newton to discover one of the most fundamental principles of physics. Foresight keeps researching till the truth is unveiled.
More than being just self serving, foresight takes care of society. The virtue of foresight helps us to peacefully find solutions to onerous problems. Future generations of the world will suffer for a very long time due to the irresponsible and reckless conduct of the present. Wastage of water, use of plastic, being cruel to animals, cutting down trees, not being environment-friendly clearly speaks about lack of circumspection.
Foresight makes us wise and we look for long-term benefits. We won't become enticed or lured by short-term gains.
Keeping us focussed, foresight helps us to channelise our energies in the right direction. Remaining precautious, we shall be alert in whatever we do. Without being deviated, farsightedness will help us remain steadfast on the path that leads us to our goal.
There is a cause behind every effect. There is a reason behind whatever occurs. One who is not insightful shall remain fixed on the outcome. Experiencing grief or joy, he or she is unable to see beyond the consequences of life. Minute observation, thoughtful reflections, learning from experiences, acquiring knowledge and intuition are the tools used by the wise to realise their wisdom. Prevailing movements and tendencies will build the future. Foresight will examine the present, warn us of the future, that could be disastrous. One man's foresight can be immensely empowering, it can save the whole human race.
Foresight that showered divinity
In present times Shrimadji saw that, most of the soul seekers did not recognise the importance of a true guru. Following their own will, they kept pursuing what they imagined to be right. Forgetting the core objective of self-realization, they either became bare and dogmatic ritualists or, exhibiting their theoretical knowledge, they became dry philosophers. To awaken such deluded souls, Shrimadji immaculately crafted many poems like Atmasiddhi Shastra, Apurva Avasar and Mul Marg. These poems appeal to such deluded souls and explains and awakens them to the true path. This was His infinite compassion, born of His profound foresight.
Foresight makes this world more friendly, happier and a better place to live. Foresight is easily evident in the lives of Bhagwan Shri Krishna and Chanakya, the great economist and philosopher.
The singing of the nightingale announces that soon the mangoes will swing on the mango trees, the croak of a rooster tells the world to welcome the dawn. Most of our life is driven by logic and rationalisation provided by common sense. When our diligence gets deeper and as we sincerely begin to deliberate, we can foresee what most cannot. In this complicated and unpredictable world, our imagination can visualise the unknown mysteries of the future. Our decisions and determination can make us a visionary. Foresight helps us to predict and prevent, invest and invent.
Foresight is one of the most important virtue that a leader should have. A leader who is fearless, intelligent and resilient can inspire and energise others to make his vision a reality.
Foresight that is boundless
It is Tirthankar Bhagwan in whom the virtue of foresight is fully developed. Omniscient, their infinite knowledge is all-pervasive. Nothing is hidden from them. Deep-seated in attentive contemplation, immersed in meditation, experiencing the highest state of blissful consciousness and equanimity, Tirthankar Bhagwan have laid out a pure path. All Those who traverse on it will attain Moksh.
Foresight That Moulds.
Dwelling in truth, it is the foresight of the saints, that have been the key benefactor for innumerable souls. Under Param Pujya Bapuji and now Param Pujya Bhaishree, our ashram has reached new heights and we all have progressed spiritually. They have been our best guides. Imparting knowledge, they taught us to act righteously and live divinely.
Bapuji saw a raw gem in Bhaishree, that needed to be polished. A silent seeker, Bhaishree had a profound quest for true knowledge. Disciplined and dedicated, he meaningfully followed the agnas given by Bapuji. Thoughtful and meticulous, calm and composed, he naturally possessed many traits that a true seeker would ordinarily develop after years of intense training. Obedient Bhaishree practised what Bapuji preached. Soon he was transformed. The inner purity began to shine forth. The divine sculptor Bapuji successfully chiselled out the delusion and carved a soulful idol. Gurumaa and Bhaishree are sparkling examples of Bapuji’s mystical foresight.
Bhaishree’s miraculous foresight.
Under Bhaishree’s insightful direction, Saubhagbhai’s and thereafter Param Krupadu Dev Shrimadji’s death centenary years were gloriously celebrated. Bhaishree had chosen media which could be easily taken to various destinations: A film on Shimad’s life, an exhibition of 90 paintings depicting many key events, a pictorial biography and a recording of Shrimadji’s stirring hymns were created by Bhaishree’s sentient guidance.
Be it Mount Kailash - Mansarovar or Char Dham, each and every pilgrimage is transformed by Bhaishree's foresight.
One can recognise his intensely spiritual perspective in the temples, memorials and other buildings within the Ashram compound: such as the Derasar, the Raj Mandir, Kalyan Hall, Saubhagbhai’s memorial, and the dining hall.
Raj Margnu Yogarohan (Yogic Ascent on the Royal Path) and Prem ni Parab (Fountain of Love) are miracles born of Param Pujya Bhaishree's foresight and diligent persistent care. Mumukshus’ spiritual progress and transformation of primary education within and around Sayla have been incomparable.
The 2001 Gujarat Earthquake devastated the village of Ninama, 35km from Sayla. Param Pujya Bhaishree visited the village and decided at that very moment that we should do as much as possible. He applied all his abilities and, within 9 months, an ideal village was born.
Param Pujya Bhaishree's foresight has led us all on an appropriate path. The spiritual powers of saints, such as Bhaishree have proven to bestow great benevolence. Praise be, manifold times, to this virtue of theirs!
Let's cultivate within ourselves the virtue of Foresight
Let's not worry, let's contemplate
In the midst of difficulties, a man in the grip of fear and worry becomes anxious, instead of contemplating and seeking a solution. Transform worry into auspicious contemplation. By means of deep thought and contemplation, the virtue of foresight develops. Having made a decision, we should not sit idly but start working. Resolve and care, work and faith create amazing magic and miracles.
Let us still the mind and practice acumen in observation. Let's learn to purposefully observe the smallest of incidents that occur. Even if life is fast-paced, let’s cultivate Bhaishree's calm-minded focus, study circumstances and people, and conduct ourselves with love.
To read, hear, think, understand and experience
Let's read a great deal, listen much, but contemplate and digest even more. Let us firmly establish the understanding which we have gained, so that the light of that understanding continues to guide us. May we remain awake and aware as we pass through life's various experiences.
Let's not become engrossed in the petty minded worldly greed
Let's not forget that worldly pleasure leads to an increased worldly embodiment. Let's remain centred on not the ephemeral but the eternal.
Let's live an awakened life
Don't harm others in the pursuit of our own happiness. Let's serve the Mother Earth on whom we live. Let her seemingly endless treasures not be depleted. Let's take extreme care to maintain the balance of the environment from which we breathe.
A true seekers foresight.
Loyal to his endeavours, a true seeker is equally concerned of his present as well as future lives. Who am I? How am I connected to this world? Am I living a meaningful life? Why do I experience, joy and sorrow? Can I free myself from the duality of life? Who will show me the path to emancipation? In finding out right answers to these worthy questions, he shall seek refuge in a true Guru. By observing the five great vows, Non-Violence, Truth, Non- stealing, Celibacy and non attachment he shall live a pious life. Such a true genuine foresight is the base of our spiritual evolution.
Our entire life is an incident. But, without foresight, it will become an accident. Under Bhaishree’s immortal shelter, let's steer the boat of our life, powered by the oars of foresight, from the shore of worldly embodiment to the shore of the eternal ecstatic bliss of moksh.
દૂરંદેશિતા - એક વિરલ ગુણ
દૂરંદેશિતા એ એક વૈચારિક ગુણ છે. મન અને બુદ્ધિ સાથે તેનો ઘનિષ્ઠ સંબંધ છે. દૂરંદેશી એ મનુષ્યને પ્રાપ્ત થયેલી ઉત્તમ શક્તિ છે. મોટાભાગના મનુષ્યોમાં આ શક્તિનું સામર્થ્ય ભર્યું પડયું છે, છતાંય થોડાં જ મનુષ્યો તેને ઉજાગર કરવામાં સફળ બને છે. જો આ શક્તિ પરિપૂર્ણ અને સકારાત્મક રીતે સક્રિય બને તો તે લબ્ધિ કે વરદાન પણ સાબિત થાય એમ છે.
કલાકો, મહિનાઓ, વર્ષો, દાયકાઓ કે સદીઓ પછી થનારી ઘટના, જેનો કોઈનેય અણસાર કે અંદાજ નથી, છતાં તે થશે એવું જેને ખ્યાલ આવી જાય તેને દૂરંદેશી કહેવાય.
ભવિષ્યમાં થનારી ઘટનાના એંધાણને વર્તમાનમાં જાણી, ઓળખી અને પરખી લેવું તેનું નામ દૂરંદેશી.
જેનું મન અશક્યને શક્ય બનાવવાના વિચારો અને પ્રયત્નોમાં સતત જોડાયેલું રહ્યું છે, મોટી સિદ્ધિઓના સ્વપ્નમાં જે ખોવાયેલા છે, સામાન્ય લાગતી બધી જ પ્રક્રિયાઓને અસામાન્ય રીતે જોઈ શકે છે તે દૂરંદેશી કહેવાય. વૃક્ષ ઉપરથી સફરજન કેમ નીચે પડ્યું અને ઉપર ન ગયું તે કોયડો ઉકેલવા જતાં આઇસેક ન્યુટનના ખોજી મને ગુરુત્વાકર્ષણનો સિદ્ધાંત જગતને ભેટ આપ્યો. વિજ્ઞાનના વિવિધ આવિષ્કારોનો જન્મ આ દૂરંદેશિતા ગુણમાંથી થતો રહે છે.
દૂરંદેશિતાનો ગુણ ધરાવનાર જેટલો સ્વકેન્દ્રિત છે તેટલો જ તે સમાજ કેન્દ્રિત પણ હોય છે. સંઘર્ષની વચ્ચે પણ તે શાંતભાવે સત્યને શોધતો રહે છે. જે સમાજ દૂરંદેશી નથી તેની ભવિષ્યની પેઢીઓ ખૂબ દુઃખી થાય છે. પાણીનો વ્યય, પ્લાસ્ટિકનો વપરાશ, અબોલ પશુઓનું શોષણ, વૃક્ષોને કાપવા, પર્યાવરણની ઉપેક્ષા, નદીઓમાં ઠલવાતું કારખાનાનું ગંદુ ઝેરીલું પાણી કે કચરો જેવાં અનેક દૂષણો આ દૂરંદેર્શિતા ગુણનો અભાવ સૂચવે છે.
દૂરંદેશિતા એટલે દીર્ઘદ્રષ્ટાપણું. તે લાંબા કાળનો વિચાર કરી શકે છે. જે ક્ષણિક છે, ટૂંકાગાળાનું છે તેનાથી તે પ્રભાવિત થતો નથી. બધી જ અપેક્ષાઓનો વિચાર કરીને પગલું માંડે છે અને માટે જ તે છેતરાતો નથી. સમય, સંપત્તિ અને સત્તાનો યથાયોગ્ય ઉપયોગ કરી તે પ્રગતિ કરતો રહે છે.
દૂરંદેશિપણાનો ગુણ વ્યક્તિને લક્ષ તરફ કેન્દ્રિત રાખે છે. તેની ઉર્જાશક્તિ સુવ્યવસ્થિત રીતે ધ્યેયની દિશામાં વહેતી રહે છે. દૂરંદેશી વ્યક્તિ અંતરમાં જાગૃત હોય છે માટે તે ફંટાઈ જતો નથી. વેરવિખેર ન થતાં તેનું જીવન સંયમિત, જળવાયેલું અને બંધાયેલું રહે છે.

દરેક કાર્ય પાછળ ચોક્કસ કારણો રહ્યાં હોય છે. સાધારણ મનુષ્ય પરિણામ ઉપર કેન્દ્રિત રહી હર્ષ અને શોકના ભાવોમાં ડૂબેલો રહે છે. પણ જે દૂરંદેશી છે તે કાર્યોની પાછળ રહેલા ચોક્કસ કારણો શોધવાનો પુરુષાર્થ કરે છે. સૂક્ષ્મ નિરીક્ષણ, વિચારશીલતા, જ્ઞાન, અનુભવ, તેમજ અંતરદ્રષ્ટિ દ્વારા વિચક્ષણ અને બુદ્ધિજીવી વ્યક્તિઓ આ જગત અને તેમાં બનતી ઘટનાઓને બરાબર સમજી લે છે. વર્તમાનનો પ્રવાહ ભવિષ્યમાં શું ફળ આપશે તેનો ખ્યાલ આવતાં, તે સાવચેત થઇ, સભાનતાપૂર્વક વર્તે છે. પોતાનું તેમજ સમાજનું હિત સાચવવામાં તેની દીર્ઘદ્રષ્ટિ અપ્રમત્તપણે જોડાયેલી રહે છે.
પરમ કૃપાળુદેવ શ્રીમદ્ રાજચંદ્રજીએ જોયું કે આ દુષમકાળમાં, મોટા ભાગના ધર્માનુરાગી આત્માઓને સદ્દગુરૂનો મહિમા અને તેના અનન્ય શરણની અનિવાર્યતાનો ખ્યાલ જ નથી. સ્વછંદે પોતાને સાચું લાગે એ રીતે તેઓ ધર્મનું આરાધન કરે છે. આત્મજ્ઞાનના લક્ષને વિસરી તેઓ જડક્રિયાવાદી બની ગયા છે અથવા તો શુષ્કજ્ઞાની બની પોતાની પંડિતાઈનું પ્રદર્શન કરી રહ્યાં છે. આવા દુર્ભાગી જીવોને ઢંઢોળીને જગાડવા માટે તેઓએ આત્મસિદ્ધિ શાસ્ત્ર, અપૂર્વ અવસર, મૂળ મારગ જેવા પદોની રચના કરી. આ તેમની અપ્રતિમ કરુણા અને દૂરંદેશિતા છે.
દૂરંદેશિતામાંથી પ્રગટ થતું પ્રાબલ્ય આ જગતને વધુ સુખદ, સુલેહભર્યું અને નિરુપદ્રવી બનાવે છે. ભગવાન શ્રીકૃષ્ણના તેમજ ચાણક્યના જીવનચરિત્રમાં આ શક્તિ વિશિષ્ઠ સ્વરૂપે તાદ્રશ્ય થાય છે.
કોયલ ટહુકા કરવા લાગે છે એટલે જણાય કે આમ્રમંજરી ખીલી છે ને હવે કેરીઓ વૃક્ષ ઉપર લટકશે. સવાર થતાં પહેલાં જ કૂક્ડાઓ જગતને પોતાના મધુર સ્વરથી જણાવી દે છે કે સૂર્યદેવનું સ્વાગત કરવા જાગી જાઓ. એક ઘટના સમયાન્તરે ઘટતી રહે તેને પ્રથમથી જાણવા માટે કોઠાસૂઝની આવશ્યકતા છે.
સામાન્ય વ્યવહારમાં કોઠાસૂઝ દ્વારા આપણે મોટા ભાગના કાર્યો કરતા હોઈએ છીએ. તે કોઠાસૂઝ જયારે જયારે ઊંડી વિચારશીલતા, ગંભીરતા, પ્રૌઢતામાં ફેરવાય તેમ તેમ દૂરંદેશિતાનો ગુણ વિકસિત થતો જાય છે. આવી વ્યક્તિઓને ભવિષ્ય સાક્ષાત્ દેખાય છે. તેમની કલ્પનાશક્તિ રહસ્યદ્રષ્ટા બનીને ભાવિનો નિર્ણય કરી શકે છે. ગુજરાતીમાં લોકોક્તિ છે કે “પુત્રના લક્ષણ પારણેથી અને વહુના લક્ષણ બારણેથી.” પુત્રનો તરવરાટ અને વહુનો વિનય તથા વિવેકીપણું જોઈ અનુભવી વડીલ તેના ચારિત્ર અને ભવિષ્ય વિષે અંતરમાં સમજી લે છે અને કોઈને ન કહેતાં, પોતાના વ્યવહારમાં તે પ્રમાણે ફેરફાર કરતા હોય છે.
દૂરંદેશિતાની પરાકાષ્ઠા
સર્વજ્ઞ ભગવાનનું જ્ઞાન એ કોઈ કલ્પના, અનુમાન કે અંદેશો નથી પણ પ્રગટ સત્ય છે. ત્રિકાળજ્ઞાની હોવાથી તેઓ વર્તમાનની ક્ષણમાં ભૂતકાળ અને ભવિષ્ય બંને જાણી શકે છે. અનંતકાળથી જીવનો મોક્ષ થયો નથી. તીર્થંકર ભગવાને પોતે સૂક્ષ્મ ચિંતન, ધ્યાન અને સમાધિનો પુરુષાર્થ કરીને મોક્ષનો માર્ગ આચરીને કંડારી બતાવ્યો. તેઓની દૂરંદેશિતા જ આખા જગતનું કલ્યાણ કરવા સમર્થ બની છે.
દીર્ઘદ્રષ્ટાની દિવ્યતમ દૂરંદેશિતા
સંતોમાં રહેલી દૂરંદેર્શિતા કેટલી અધિક કલ્યાણકારી છે તે તો પરમ પૂજ્ય બાપુજી તેમજ પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીના પવિત્ર સાંનિધ્યમાં રહેતાં આપણે સાક્ષાત્ અનુભવી રહ્યાં છીએ. વર્તમાન ક્ષણની કલમ દ્વારા ભવિષ્ય લખાઈ રહ્યું છે એ સત્યને ક્યારેય વિસ્મૃત ન કરનારા એવા અગ્રશોચી પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી સતત જાગૃત રહે છે. તેમની અલૌકિક નિશ્રામાં બધું જ યોગ્ય અને યથાર્થ રીતે થઇ રહ્યું હોવાથી; વર્ષ પ્રતિ વર્ષ આશ્રમ તેમજ મુમુક્ષુઓ આધ્યાત્મિક રીતે ઉન્નત થઇ રહ્યાં છે.
નેતૃત્વ કરનાર દરેક વ્યક્તિમાં આ ગુણ હોવો અતિ આવશ્યક છે. પ.પૂ.ભાઈશ્રી એક અમૂલ્ય રત્ન છે, એવું હીરા પારખું પરમ પૂજ્ય બાપુજીએ જાણી લીધું. સ્વભાવે શાંત, ઓછું બોલનારા, તત્વમાં રુચી ધરાવનારા, નિષ્ઠાપૂર્વક આજ્ઞાપાલન કરનારા, ધીરજ કેળવીને, વિનય અને વિવેક સાચવી બધાં જ કાર્યો વિચારીને કરનારા એવા પ.પૂ. ભાઇશ્રી એક આદર્શ શિષ્ય છે એમ બાપુજીએ નકકી કર્યું. કુશળ શિલ્પીની જેમ પૂ. બાપુજીએ પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીમાં રહેલી ચૈતન્ય મૂર્તિને અનાવરિત કરી તેમના અલૌકિક સ્વરૂપના દર્શન મુમુક્ષુઓને કરાવ્યા. જેમ એક નિપુણ ઝવેરી હીરામાં પહેલ પાડે તેમ પૂ. બાપુજીએ પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીના આત્માને તરાશી તેને ચમકાવ્યો. પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીના આત્માનો દિવ્યપ્રકાશ, તેમના ચૈતન્યનું તેજ એવું પ્રગટ થયું કે અનેક મુમુક્ષુઓના તેઓ પથપ્રદર્શક બન્યાં. ભાઈશ્રીને પોતાના ઉત્તરાધિકારી સ્થાપી "શ્રી રાજ સૌભાગ આશ્રમ’’નાં ભવિષ્ય માટે આત્મહિતૈષી બાપુજી નિશ્ચિંત થઇ ગયા. આ હતી પૂ. બાપુજીની દૂરંદેશિતા તેમજ મુમુક્ષુ પ્રત્યે વરસેલી કૃપા.
પ.પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીની કલ્યાણકારી દૂરંદેશિતા
ભવ્ય શ્રી સૌભાગભાઈ તેમજ પરમ કૃપાળુદેવની દેહવિલય શતાબ્દીની ઉજવણી થઇ તે પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીની દૂરદર્શિતાનું પ્રમાણ આપે છે. કૃપાળુદેવ ઉપરની ફિલ્મ, સચિત્રદર્શન કરાવતું પુસ્તક, કૃપાળુદેવના પદોની સીડી તેમજ 90 (નેવું) ચિત્રોના પ્રદર્શનના નવનિર્માણમાં પ.પૂ.ભાઇશ્રીની દિવ્ય દીર્ઘદ્રષ્ટિની પ્રેરણા નિમિત્ત બની.
કૈલાસ માનસરોવર હોય કે ચાર ધામ, બધી જ ધર્મયાત્રાઓમાં પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીની દૂરંદેશી તે ધર્મયાત્રાઓને અનોખી બનાવી દેતી હોય છે.
દેરાસરજી, રાજ મંદિર, કલ્યાણ હોલ, સૌભાગ સ્મૃતિ, અન્નપૂર્ણા વગેરે આશ્રમના પ્રાંગણમાં બંધાયેલ તમામ મંદિરો તેમજ સ્મારકોમાં તેમની વિશિષ્ઠ આધ્યાત્મિક દ્રષ્ટિનો પરિચય પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે.
`રાજમાર્ગનું યોગારોહણ’ તેમજ `પ્રેમની પરબ’ એ પ.પૂ.ભાઇશ્રીની દૂરંદેશી તેમજ ખંતના ચમત્કારિક પરચા છે. મુમુક્ષુઓની આધ્યાત્મિક પ્રગતિ અને સાયલા તેમજ આજુબાજુના તાલુકાઓની પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓના શિક્ષણમાં આવેલું અદ્દભુત પરિવર્તન અનુપમ છે.
2001ની સાલમાં ધરતીકંપને કારણે સાયલાથી 35 કિલોમીટર દૂર આવેલ નિનામા ગામ આખુંએ ધ્વંસિત થયું. પ.પૂ.ભાઈશ્રીએ તે ગામની મુલાકાત લીધી અને તત્ક્ષણ નિર્ણય લીધો કે જેટલું આપણાથી બની શકે તેટલું કરવું. તેમણે પોતાની તમામ શક્તિઓ કામે લગાડી અને 9 (નવ) મહિનામાં એક આદર્શ ગામ ઊભું કરી દીધું.
પ.પૂ.ભાઇશ્રીની દૂરંદેશીએ સર્વને યોગ્ય માર્ગે દોરવ્યા છે. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી જેવા સત્પુરુષોનું યોગબળ અધિક કલ્યાણકારી નીવડયું છે. તેઓના આ ગુણને અનેકવાર વંદના.
દૂરંદેશિતા ગુણને આપણામાં ખીલવીએ.
ચિંતા નહિ ચિંતન કરીએ.
સમસ્યાની વચ્ચે ભયગ્રસ્ત માણસ ચિંતન કરી ઉપાય શોધવાને બદલે ચિંતા અને ફિકર કરતો રહે છે. ચિંતાને ચિંતનના મંગળ સ્વરૂપમાં ફેરવી નાખો. ઊંડી વિચારણા અને ચિંતન દ્વારા વ્યક્તિમાં દૂરદર્શિતાનો ગુણ વિકાસ પામતો જાય છે. નિર્ણય લીધા પછી બેસી ન રહેતાં મન અને શરીરને કામે લગાડવા. નિર્ણય અને ખંત, કાર્ય અને શ્રદ્ધા અજબ જાદુઈ ચમત્કારો સર્જે છે.
ધીર-ગંભીર બનીને સૂક્ષ્મ નિરીક્ષણ કરતાં રહીએ.
સામાન્ય ઘટનાઓ પણ લક્ષપૂર્વક જોતાં શીખીએ. ભલે જીવન ગતિશીલ હોય પણ પ.પૂ.ભાઇશ્રીની જેમ શાંત ચિત્તે એકાગ્રતા કેળવી, સંજોગોનો તેમજ વ્યક્તિઓનો અભ્યાસ કરી પ્રેમપૂર્વક વર્તીએ.
વાંચવું, સાંભળવું, વિચારવું, સમજવું અને અનુભવવું
ખૂબ વાંચીએ, ઘણું સાંભળીએ પણ તેના કરતાં અનેક ઘણું વધારે વિચારીએ અને વાગોળીએ. જે સમજણ પ્રાપ્ત થઇ તે આપણા અંતરમાં સ્થિર થાય અને દરેક કાર્ય કરતી વખતે તે સમજણનો જ્ઞાનપ્રકાશ આપણને દોરતો રહે એવું જીવન જીવીએ. જીવનના અનુભવોમાંથી પસાર થઈએ ત્યારે આપણે જાગૃત રહીએ.
દુન્યવી ટૂંકા લાભોથી પ્રલોભિત ન થઈએ
આપણે ભૂલીએ નહિ કે સંસારનું સુખ સંસાર વધારનારું હોય છે. ક્ષણિક નહિ પણ શાશ્વત્ પ્રત્યે કેન્દ્રિત થઈએ.
સાવચેતીપૂર્વક જીવન જીવીએ
પોતાના સુખ માટે અન્યને દુઃખી ન કરવાં. જે ધરતીમાતા ઉપર આપણે જીવીએ છીએ તેની સેવા કરવી. તેના અખૂટ ભંડારને નુકશાન ન પહોંચે, જે પર્યાવરણમાંથી શ્વાસ લઈએ છીએ તેની સંતુલના જળવાય તેની સુવિશેષ કાળજી રાખીએ.
સાચો દૂરંદેશી
સાચો દૂરંદેશી વ્યક્તિ આ ભવથી અધિક પરભવનો વિચાર કરે છે. હું કોણ છું? આ જગત શું છે? સુખ શું? દુઃખ શું? કર્મસત્તા શી? મુક્તિ શું? મુક્તિનો માર્ગ કોણ બતાવે? આ બધાં પ્રશ્નોનો યથાર્થ ઉત્તર મેળવીએ. સદ્દગુરુના આશ્રયે રહી જે અહિંસા, સત્ય, અચૌર્ય, અપરિગ્રહ અને બ્રહ્મચર્ય પાળી નિર્મળ જીવન જીવે તે સાચો દૂરંદેશી કહેવાય.
આખું જીવન એક ઘટના છે, દૂરંદેશી વગર તે દુર્ઘટના બની જશે. પરમ પૂજ્ય ભાઇશ્રીની અમૃત નિશ્રામાં આપણે સંસારના કિનારેથી આપણી જીવન નૌકાને દૂરંદેશિતાના હલેસા વડે હંકારી, મોક્ષના, શાશ્વત્ સમાધિસુખના કિનારે લઇ જઇએ.
