We celebrate Param Pujya Bhaishree's divinity through the wonder of his virtues. Each month a different writer has captured the inspirations drawn from Bhaishree's life that shed light on these beautiful virtues and help us recognise his inner being.
This month we explore Param Pujya Bhaishree's virtues of Surrender.
Surrender
Param Pujya Bapuji would say that we are all observing the eternal Jain religion as preached by Lord Mahavir. It was expounded by Param Krupaludev and by the grace of the living True Guru, we are striving to understand it.
So let us contemplate upon what Lord Mahavir, Param Krupaludev and Param Pujya Bapuji have said for surrender.
Lord Mahavir
While explaining humility, Lord Mahavir had said in the first chapter ‘Vinayshrut’ of his final sermon ‘Uttaradhyayan Sutra’ that humility equates to surrender. For the seeker of spirituality, the doorway to walk the path is surrender. Lord Mahavir has pointed out to the seeker :
‘O Seeker! If you desire to strive for the Soul, if you wish to realise the Soul and seek liberation, then at first you must surrender yourself at the feet of the enlightened Guru with faith and with humility you must practice His instructions with mind, body and speech.’
Param Krupaludev : Shrimad Rajchandra
Param Krupaludev has said, “With humility one shall attain the essence”. Humility implies surrender, the essence refers to one’s soul, attaining it means realisation. Thus by surrender unto the enlightened Guru one can go all the way to experiencing one’s Soul.
Param Pujya Bapuji (Shree Ladakchand Manekchand Vora)
Param Pujya Bapuji would say that surrender is to affirm one’s resolve to have faith towards the true Lord, true Guru and the true Religion. The true Lord and the true religion are encompassed within the true Guru. To Surrender to the Guru can itself be considered as self-realisation from a relative point of view.
Let us now look at what true Surrender entails :
સ:- To the true Lord, true Guru and true Religion
મ:- With the mind
ર:- With the body in which the heart beats
પ:- With our wealth
ણ:- We must bow and surrender
ભાવ:- Even the Soul that constantly experiences internal and external feelings must be surrendered unto the enlightened Guru
Thus to offer ones body, mind, wealth as well as one’s externally oriented soul to the enlightened
Guru is what is Surrender.
Having discussed the above points, lets us now look at how this very virtue is abundantly manifest within Param Pujya Bhaishree :
Param Pujya Bhaishree has surrendered himself to Param Pujya Bapuji. Bhaishree recounts that he was attracted to Bapuji like a magnet. Such was this pull towards Bapuji, that Bhaishree wished to constantly live by his feet. Thus he resolved to spend increasing amounts of time with Bapuji. He made arrangements such that he could participate in more and more pilgrimages with Bapuji. Let us now behold the epic of surrender that is evident in each and every task in Bhaishree’e life.
1. Surrender Of The Mind:
Bhaishree has been steadily bringing to fruition all of Bapuji’s aspirations. Bapuji was deeply concerned about women’s education. Bhaishree has established Pujya L. M. Vora Girls High School and Arts College. Nearly one thousand girls are studying in these institutions today.
Bapuji would say, “Service to man is service to the Lord”. Having grasped this teaching of Bapuji, Bhaishree has vastly grown the range and coverage of humanitarian activities. Eye hospital, Centre for the differently abled, Fountain of Love, distribution of food grains, Buttermilk Centres, Community Health Centre etc., are among the numerous projects that are being carried out under his auspices.
Such is the highest form of Surrender of the mind. Bhaishree’s mind is preoccupied with Bapuji’s noble aspirations. He conducts himself in accordance with Bapuji’s instructions. His thoughts are dedicated to Bapuji’s wishes.
2. Surrender The Body:
Bapuji instructed Bhaishree to lead his life in service of spiritual upliftment of the self & others. From the very day Bapuji declared Bhaishree as his spiritual successor, Bhaishree set aside all other tasks and has been living his life in accordance with the aforementioned precept of service towards the spiritual upliftment of the self and others. Through numerous discourses, Meditation retreats, Silent-solitude retreats and such other programs, he began showering wisdom. Bhaishree has been presenting to us numerous different spiritual topics, with an emphasis on detachment and equanimity, through the scriptures of enlightened souls in his discourses. Just recently the 100th Silent-solitude retreat was concluded. Every moment of his life passes only for the spiritual upliftment of seekers. No matter what physical ailment he may be undergoing, he never fails to shower his wisdom during discourses and meditation retreats.
3. Surrender of Wealth:
Bhaishree took an early retirement from his family business. He dedicated his entire life to Bapuji.
4. Surrender Of The Externally- Oriented Soul:
Bhaishree recounts that he has never observed religion from a strict ritualistic perspective. He has merely continued to follow the instructions of Bapuji ever since he met him. Remaining focussed inwards in meditation and remaining equanimous in life, he continued to purify his soul and thereby experience the true self. He states that it was solely Bapuji who moulded his spirituality. When someone asked him how he remains connected to Bapuji in his absence now, Bhaishree replied, “it is through inward focus that I remain connected to Bapuji”. This is the zenith of surrender, the peak of spirituality. In this state one’s soul has attained the same elevated purity as one’s Guru.
Param Krupaludev says that the union of the individual soul with the universal soul is the final attainment of the highest form of devotion.
Thus as we analyse the various aspects of Bhaishree’s life we come across his surrender unto his Guru through each and every one of his expressions and actions.
That we may also attain such a level of surrender and abidance to the Guru’s instructions and that our spiritual abilities may increase by heartfelt contemplation - this should be the true gift that we present at the feet of our Guru during this birthday celebration.
To conclude, dedication to Bhaishree for us entails the following :
અ: Single-minded abidance in his instructions
ર: To enshrine his countenance in our hearts
પ: To purify our expressions
ન: Always singing the praises of his numerous virtues
ભાવ: To restrain our negative thoughts and tendencies through the path he has shown us and by the spiritual tools he has given us.
We are truly fortunate that even in this dark age we have found an enlightened Guru. This lineage that began with Lord Mahavir has remained alive by the grace of Param Krupaludev, Bhavya Shri Saubhagbhai and the enlightened sages of Sayla.
Finally lets us understand just this much :
- The first step of the spiritual path is Surrender
- The window to experience eternal bliss is Surrender
- The first duty for attaining liberation whilst still embodied is Surrender
- The grand doorway to enter within oneself and save oneself from the trifold flames is
Surrender - The origin of transformation in one’s life is Surrender
- The eternal path that leads to the end of transmigration is Surrender.
With such Surrender in our hearts, let us pray to Bhaishree as follows :
“Day & night I remain drenched in devotion towards Bhaishree, May thy countenance remain in my heart when my time comes, May thy countenance live in my eyes when my time comes.
સમર્પણભાવ
પ. પૂ બાપુજી કેહતા કે આપણે સૌ મહાવીર ના પ્રબોધેલા સનાતન જૈન ધર્મ ને પાળીયે છીએ. જેની પ્રારૂપણા કૃપાળુદેવ એ કરી છે અને પ્રત્યક્ષ સદ્ ગુરૂ થકી આપણે એની સમઝણ લઇ રહ્યા છીએ.
તો ચાલો વિચારણા કરીયે કે ભગવાન મહાવીરે, પરમ કૃપાળુદેવે અને સદ્ ગુરુ દેવ પ. પૂ બાપુજીએ સમર્પણ ભાવ માટે શું કહ્યું છે.
ભગવાન મહાવીર
ભગવાન મહાવીરની અંતિમ દેશના ' ઉત્તરાધ્યાન સૂત્ર' ના પહેલા અધ્યયન 'વિનયશ્રુત' માં ભગવાને વિનય ની વ્યાખા કરતા કહ્યું છે કે વિનય એટલે અર્પણતા. અધ્યાત્મ માર્ગના પંથી માટે આરાધના નું પ્રવેશ દ્વાર એટલે સમર્પણતા . ભગવાન મહાવીર સાધક ને અંગુલી નિર્દેશ કરે છે: ' હૈ સાધક ! જો તારે આત્મ સાધના કરવી હોય તો , આત્માર્થી બની ને મોક્ષાર્થી બનવું હોય તો, પ્રથમ શ્રદ્ધા પૂર્વક સદ્ ગુરુ ના ચારણ માં સમર્પિત બની વિનયપૂર્વક તેઓશ્રીની આજ્ઞા નું પાલન મન - વાણી - કાયા થી કર.
પરમ કૃપાળુદેવ: શ્રીમદ રાજચંદ્ર
પરમ કૃપાળુદેવે કહ્યું છે કે "વિનય વડે તત્વની સિદ્ધિ" વિનય એટલે આપણે આ સમર્પણતા ના ભાવ વડે 'તત્વ ' એટલે કે સ્વના આત્મા ની, ' સિદ્ધિ ' એટલે પાપ્તિ કરી શકીયે છે. આમ આત્મજ્ઞાની સદ્ ગુરુ પ્રત્યે અર્પણતા ના ભાવો થી આત્મા ની અનુભૂતિ સુધી જીવ પહોંચી શકે છે.
પ. પૂ બાપુજી (શ્રી લાડકચંદ માણેકચંદ વોરા)
પ. પૂ બાપુજી કેહતા કે સત્ દેવ, સદ્ ગુરુ અને સત્ ધર્મ ની શ્રદ્ધા રાખવાનો સંકલ્પ જાહેર કરવો તે અર્પણતા છે. સત્ દેવ તત્વ અને સત્ ધર્મ તત્વ તે સદ્ ગુરુ માં સમાય જાય છે. તેમને સમર્પિત થવું તે ' કે ' વર્ગ નું સમ્યક્ દર્શન છે વ્યવહારે સમકિત છે.
હવે આપણે વિચારીયે કે સમર્પણ ભાવ કોને કહેવાય:
સ: સત્ દેવ, સદ્ ગુરુ અને સત્ ધર્મ માં
મ: મન દ્વારા
ર: દય જેમાં ધબકે છે તે તન દ્વારા
પ: પૈસો એટલે ધન દ્વારા
ણ: નમન કરી સમર્પિત થવું
ભાવ: આપણો વિભાવિક આત્મા સતત ભાવ અભાવ કર્યા છે તેને પણ સદ્ ગુરુ ને અર્પણ કરી દેવો.
આમ તન મન ધન અને આપણા વિભાવિક આત્મા ને સદ્ ગુરુ ને સમર્પિત કરવો તે સમર્પણ ભાવ છે.
આટલી વિચારણા કર્યા પછી આપણને આ ગુણ પ. પૂ ભઈશ્રી માં કેટલા વિપુલ પ્રમાણમાં દેખાય છે તેની વાત કરીયે:
પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી, પ. પૂ બાપુજીને સમર્પિત થયા છે. તેઓ કહે છે છે કે પ. પૂ બાપુજી પ્રત્યે એક લોહચુંબકની જેમ તેઓ આકર્ષિત થતા ગયા. જાણે બાપુજી ના શરણમાં જ રેહવું એવું તેમના પ્રત્યે ખેંચાણ થયા કરતું. માટે તેમની સાથે વધુ સમય ગાળવાનો નિર્ણય તેમણે લઇ લીધો. તેમની સાથે વધુ માં વધુ જાત્રાઓ કરી શકે તેવું આયોજન તેમણે શરુ કરી દીધું. હવે, આપણે પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી ના જીવનનાં પ્રત્યેક કાર્યમાં આ સમર્પણભાવ ની ઉત્કૃષ્ટતા નિહાળીએ.
1) મનની સમર્પણતા:
પ. પૂ બાપુજીના સઘળા મનોરથો પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી પુરા કરી રહ્યા છે. પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી સ્ત્રી શિક્ષણ માટે હમેશા ઉત્સુક હતાં. પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી એ Pujya L.M Vora Girls High school તથા arts college ની સ્થાપના કરી. જેમાં આજે લગભગ 1000 કન્યાઓ કેળવણી લઇ રહી છે.
પ. પૂ બાપુજી કેહતા ' જન સેવા એ પ્રભુ સેવા ' તો બાપુજીના ભાવોને ઝીલી પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી જનહિતના કાર્યો નો વ્યાપ ઘણો ફેલાવી દીધો. આંખની હોસ્પિટલ, વિકલાંગ કેન્દ્ર, પ્રેમની પરબ, અનાજ વિતરણ, છાશ કેન્દ્રો, CHC વગેરે અનેકવિધ કર્યો અત્યારે એમની નીશ્રા માં પુરવેગે ચાલી રહ્યા છે.
આ છે મનનો ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સમર્પણ ભાવ. પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રી નું મન માત્ર એમના સદ્ ગુરુ ના મનોરથો થી ભરેલું છે. તેમની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાણે જ ચાલે છે. તેમની ઈચ્છા પુતિ માટેજ વિચારશીલ છે.
2) કાયાનો સમર્પણભાવ:
પ. પૂ. બાપુજી એ પ. પૂ ભાઈશ્રીને કહ્યું કે તમે સ્વ - પર કલ્યાણની ભાવનાથી જીવન જીવો, આશ્રમમાં પોતાના ઉત્તરાધિકારી તરીખેની પ. પૂ. બાપુજી એ જાહેરાત કરી તે જ દિવસ થી પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી બધું કામ બંધ કરી માત્ર સ્વ-પર કલ્યાણના ભાવથી જીવન જીવી રહ્યાં છે. ભિન્ન ભિન્ન સ્વાધ્યાયો, શિબિરોનું આયોજન, રાજ માર્ગનું યોગારોહણ તથા એકાંત મૌન શિબિર દ્વારા બોધની વર્ષા શરૂ કરી દીધી. અલગ અલગ વિષયો જેમાં મુખ્યત્વ વૈરાગ્ય અને સમભાવની સાધના હોય તેને પોતાના સ્વાધ્યાયોમાં, વિવિધ જ્ઞાની પુરુષોના ગ્રંથો દ્વારા આપણા સુધી પોંહચાડે છે. હાલમાં 100મી એકાંત મૌન શિબિરની પૂર્ણાહુતિ થઇ. તેમના જીવનની પ્રત્યેક પળ મુમુક્ષુના ઉત્કર્ષ માટે જ વ્યતિત થાય છે. તેમના શરીરમાં ગમે તેવું દર્દ હોય છતાં સ્વાધ્યાયોમાં અને શિબિરોમાં નિયમિત રીતે બોધ વરસાવે છે.
3) ધનની સમર્પણતા:
પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીએ પોતાના પરિવારના વ્યવસાય માંથી નિવૃત્તિ લઇ લીધી. અને સમગ્ર જીવન પ. પૂ. બાપુજીને સમર્પિત કરી દીધું.
4) વિભાવિક આત્માનું સમર્પણ:
પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી કહે છે કે તેમણે પોતાના જીવનમાં કોઈ રૂઢિચુસ્ત ધર્મનું પાલન કર્યું નથી. માત્ર પ. પૂ. બાપુજી મળ્યા ત્યારથી તેમની આજ્ઞા નું પાલન કરતા રહ્યા. સાધનામાં અંતર્મુખતા નો પુરુષાર્થ, જીવનમાં સમભાવ કેળવતા ગયા અને આમ આત્મા વિશુદ્ધ થતો ગયો અને આત્માની અનુભૂતિ થઇ ગઈ. તેઓ કહે છે કે પ. પૂ. બાપુજીએ જ તેમનું આધ્યાત્મિક ઘડતર કર્યું છે અને આજે જ્યારે પ. પૂ. બાપુજી ની હયાતી નથી ત્યારે તમે કઈ રીતે પ. પૂ. બાપુજી સાથે જોડાયેલા રહો છો એમ પ્રશ્ન કોઈએ પૂછ્યો તો તેઓએ તરતજ જવાબ આપ્યો “ અંતર્મુખતા થી હું બાપુજી સાથે જોડાયેલો છું .” આ સમર્પણ ભાવની પરાકાષ્ટા છે, આધ્યાત્મનું શિખર છે. જ્યાં પોતાના સદ્ ગુરુ જેવો જ પોતાનો આત્મા વિશુદ્ધ બની ગયો છે.
પરમ કૃપાળુ દેવ કહે છે કે આત્મા પરમાત્માની ઐક્યતા એ પરાભક્તિની છેવટની હદ છે.
આમ જુદી જુદી રીતે આપણે પ. પૂ. ભાઇશ્રી ના જીવનને નિહાળીએ તો પોતાના સદ્ ગુરુ પ્રત્યેનો અખંડિત સમર્પણ ભાવ આપણને તેમની પ્રત્યેક ચેષ્ટમાં, પ્રત્યેક કાર્યમાં દેખાય.
આપણા જીવનમાં પણ આવો સમર્પણભાવ, આજ્ઞા પાલન, હૃદયથી અવલોકન કરવાની ક્ષમતા વધે એજ સાચી જન્મદીનની ભેટ સદ્ ગુરુના ચરણે ધરવી જોઈએ.
અંતમાં આપણા માટે અર્પણભાવ એટલે પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી પ્રત્યે,
અ: એકનિષ્ઠાએ આજ્ઞા પાલન
ર: હૃદયથી તેમની મુખાકૃતિનું અવલોકન
પ: પરિણામોની વિશુદ્ધિ
ણ: નિત્ય પ્રત્યે ગુણોની સ્તવના
ભાવ: આપણા વિભાવોને, વૃત્તિઓને તેમના માર્ગદર્શન મુજબ તેમણે બતાવેલ સત્ સાધન દ્વારા રોકવા.
આપણે ખૂબ ભાગ્યશાળી છીએ કે આવા દુષમ કાળમાં આપણને આવા જ્ઞાની ગુરુ મળ્યા છે. આ વારસો ભગવાન મહાવીરથી શરુ થતો, પરમ કૃપાળુદેવ, ભવ્યશ્રી સૌભગ્યભાઈથી, સાયલાના સંતો થકી જીવંત છે.
અંતમાં એટલુંજ સમજીયે કે:
- અધ્યાત્મ માર્ગનું પહેલુ પગથિયું એટલે સમર્પણભાવ
- સત્ સુખના દર્શન કરવાની બારી એટલે સમર્પણભાવ
- સહદેહે મુક્તિની અનુભૂતિ માટેનું પ્રથમ કર્તવ્ય એટલે સમર્પણભાવ
- ત્રિવિધ તાપાગ્ની થી બચી નિજની શીતળતાનું પ્રવેશ દ્વાર એટલે સમર્પણભાવ
- જીવનમાં આમૂલ પરિવર્તનની ધારાનું ઉદ્દગમ સ્થાન એટલે સમર્પણભાવ
- સત્ના પંથ પર ચાલી ભવના અંત સુધી પોંહચવાની કેડી એટલે સમર્પણભાવ
આપણે આવા સમર્પણભાવને હૈયામાં રાખી પ. પૂ ભાઇશ્રીને પ્રાથીએ કે:
“ ભઈશ્રીની ભક્તિમાં, રાત દિન હું રહુ લીન,
તુજ મુદ્રા હૈયે રેહજો, થાઉં જ્યારે પ્રાણહીન,
તુજ મુદ્રા નયણે વસજો, થાઉં જ્યારે પ્રાણહીન. ”

OM
Obeisance to the enlightened Guru
The last Tirthankar Lord Mahavir has said :
The one who observes the instructions of the Guru
The one who remains seated close to the Guru
The one who carries out the tasks of the Guru
The one who grasps the subtle essence behind the Guru’s gestures and emotions
Such a disciple is considered to be humble.
By the strength of surrender unto the Guru, such an aspirant shall be able to overcome his ego and reach the supreme state.
We get to glimpse all of the aforementioned points in Bhaishree’s life.
Along with surrender, three other qualities are found to be intertwined.
1) Observing the Guru’s instructions
2) Love
3) Astuteness
Lets us contemplate upon how these three virtues can be found in Bhaishree’s life.
1 Observing the Guru’s instructions : Param Pujya Bapuji has laid down a set of spiritual practices for the ashram. Agnyabhakti in the morning, followed by Dev vandan and then two satsangs. In the evening Aarti and Mangal Divo in the temple followed by Evening Dev Vandan, Atmasiddhi and Satsang again in Kalyan Hall. Since the day the ashram was established, this sequence of practices has been unfailingly adhered to. Recently we consecrated the grand idol of Shrimad Rajchandra in the basement of Raj Mandir. Everyone came to the agreement that one Dev Vandan should take place in Kalyan Hall while the other should take place in the basement of Raj Mandir. Param Pujya Bhaishree remarked that as per Bapuji’s instructions Dev Vandan must continue in Kalyan Hall both times, while arrangements should be made for it to take place in the Raj Mandir as well.
Such is his discipline in abiding by the Guru’s instructions.
2 Love : Bhaishree has unbounded love and devotion towards Bapuji. When we sing praises of Bhaishree and liken him to Bapuji, he always humbly asks not to be compared to Bapuji. Where is Bapuji and where am ‘I’. Such is the respectful devotion that resides in his heart.
3 Astuteness : Bhaishree would keenly observe the interactions of Bapuji with various people. After the demise of Bapuji, Bhaishree has maintained the same conduct with all those people. In one instance, Bhaishree was invited to a program in honour of C. U. Shah. He wholeheartedly accepted the invitation. I said to him, “Bhaishree will it be convenient for you to attend ?”. To this he answered that with those people who Bapuji had a close association, I also wish to maintain a similar relationship.
Such was the astuteness with which Bhaishree would grasp and follow each and every gesture and emotion of his Guru
To conclude, let us contemplate the following :
“Surrender unto Bapuji is what is true love
Following his instructions, there is always a smile on Bhaishree’s face
Always resonating in his life is the chime of the pure Soul
At the holy feet of such a Guru I offer my obeisance eternally.”

શ્રી સદ્ ગુરુ દેવાય નમઃ
ચરમ તીર્થંકર વીર પ્રભુ કહે છે કે:
જે સદ્ ગુરુની આજ્ઞા નું પાલન કરનાર હોય
જે સદ્ ગુરુની સમીપ બેસનાર હોય
જે સદ્ ગુરુના કાર્યો કરનાર હોય
જે સદ્ ગુરુએ બતાવેલ ઈશારા તથા ભાવને સારી રીતે જાણનાર હોય
તે શિષ્ય વિનયવાન કહેવાય.
આવો શિષ્ય સદ્ ગુરુદેવના સમર્પણભાવથી પોતાના અહંનો નાશ કરી અર્હમ પદ સુધી પહોંચી શકે છે.
ઉપર કહેલ પ્રત્યેક ભાવો આપણને સંપૂર્ણ રીતે પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીના જીવનમાં જોવા મળે છે.
અહીં સમર્પણભાવ સાથે અન્ય ત્રણ ગુણો વણાયેલા જણાય છે: 1) આજ્ઞાપાલન
2) પ્રીતિ 2) વિચક્ષણતા.
પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીના જીવનમાં આ ત્રણેય ગુણો કઈ રીતે ભરેલા છે તેનો વિચાર કરીએ
- આજ્ઞાપાલન:
પ. પૂ. બાપુજીએ આશ્રમ માટે એક સાધનાનો બાંધો બાંધી આપ્યો છે. સવારે આજ્ઞા ભક્તિ, દેવવંદન, પછી બે વખત સત્સંગ સ્વાધ્યાય. ત્યાર બાદ સાંજના દેરાસરજી માં આરતી, મંગલ દીવો તથા કલ્યાણ હૉલમાં સાયંકાળનું દેવ વંદન, આત્મસિધ્ધિ અને રાતના સ્વાધ્યાય ભક્તિ. આમ જ્યારથી આશ્રમ સ્થપાયો ત્યારથી પ્રત્યેક દિવસ આ ક્રમ ચાલુ છે. હાલમાં આપણે રાજ મંદિરના basement માં પરમ કૃપાળુદેવની ભવ્ય પ્રતિમાની સ્થાપના કરી. બધાએ ભેગા મળી નિર્ણય કર્યો કે હવે એકવખત નું દેવ વંદન કલ્યાણ હોલમાં થાય અને એક વખતનું દેવ વંદન રાજ મંદિરના basementમાં થાય. પરંતુ ભાઈશ્રીએ કહ્યું કે પ. પૂ. બાપુજીની આજ્ઞાથી આટલાં વર્ષોથી બન્ને વખતનું દેવવંદન કલ્યાણ હોલમાં થાય તે ચાલુ રાખવું જોઈએ અને રાજ મંદિરના basement માં પણ દેવ વંદન થાય તેવી ગોઠવણ કરો.
આ છે તેમની ગુરુ આજ્ઞાપાલનની શિષ્ટતા.
2) પ્રીતિ:
પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીને પ. પૂ. બાપુજી પ્રત્યે અનહદ ભક્તિ અને પ્રીતિ. જ્યારે આપણે પ. પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીના ગુણ ગ્રામ ગાઈએ અને કહીએ કે આપ પ. પૂ. બાપુજી જેવા જ છો ત્યારે પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી કહે કે તમે મને બાપુજી સાથે ન સરખાવો. ક્યાં બાપુજી અને ક્યાં ‘હું’. આવી પ્રેમાદર ભક્તિ તેમના હૃદયમાં રહેલ છે.
3) વિચક્ષણતા:
પ. પૂ. બાપુજી પોતાના જીવનમાં જેની જેની સાથે જે જે વ્યવહાર કરતાં હતાં તેનું પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી ખૂબ બારીકાઈથી નિરીક્ષણ કરતાં. પ. પૂ. બાપુજીના દેહવિલય પછી પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીએ તે બધા સાથે એ જ પ્રમાણેનો વ્યહવાર સાચવેલો છે. એક વખત શ્રી સી. યુ. શાહ સાહેબ માટે કાર્યક્રમ કરવાનો હતો અને તે માટે પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રીને અમે આમંત્રણ આપ્યું. તેમણે આમંત્રણનો સહર્ષ સ્વીકાર કર્યો. મેં કહ્યું ભાઈશ્રી આપને આવવું અનુકૂળ પડશે? ત્યારે તેમણે જવાબ આપ્યો કે જે વ્યક્તિઓ સાથે પ. પૂ. બાપુજીનો આત્મીયતા ભરેલો સંબંધ હતો તે બધા સાથે હું પણ એ જ પ્રમાણનો સંબંધ જાળવી રાખું છું.
આમ પ. પૂ. ભાઈશ્રી કેટલી વિચક્ષણતાથી તેમના સદ્ ગુરુના ઈશારા તથા ભાવોનો સમજતા હતા અને એનું પાલન કરે છે.
અંતમાં આપણે વિચારવાનું છે કે:
“પ. પૂ. બાપુજી પ્રત્યે સમર્પણભાવ એ જ સાચી પ્રીત છે,
આજ્ઞા પાલન કરતા પ. પૂ. ભાઇશ્રીના મુખ પર સદૈવ સ્મિત છે,
જીવનમાં સદાય ગુંજતું શુધ્ધ આત્માનું પાવન સંગીત છે,
આવા શ્રી સદગુરુના ચરણોમાં વંદન નિત નિત છે.”
